To CASC/ACSS Members March 17, 2020
CASC/ACSS staff and Board have been closely monitoring developments in relation to the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak since it first emerged. We have been in consultation with the planning team of 2020 Vision, the Joint Conference in Cleveland and with Certified Supervisor-Educators across the country as we prepare to offer support due to the impact the pandemic is having on education programs.
CASC/ACSS’s top priority is to advance the professionalism of spiritual care and psycho-spiritual therapy in Canada and to support our members in the work they do.
As soon as new information becomes available regarding spiritual care or psycho-spiritual therapy initiatives or educational standards which may be affected by the outbreak, it will be circulated to members and posted on the CASC/ACSS website
In the meantime, the Board of Directors is very grateful that the National Office is functioning effectively and will continue to serve the needs of members and supporters of professional spiritual care in Canada.
We recognize that this is an exceptional environment for our members. On behalf of the Board, I would like to acknowledge with deep gratitude those brave and hardworking individuals among our members who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak. Thank you for your deep commitment to supporting those who are ill and their caregivers during these anxious times
Please do not hesitate to contact the National Office if you have any questions.
