Nimawin, is a special committee formed to assist CASC/ACSS in responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) Calls to Action, the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls’ (MMIWG) Calls for Justice, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). 

Nimawin recently presented their report to the CASC/ACSS board. The recommendations proposed by Nimawin for CASC/ACSS’s active and ongoing involvement in reconciliation with the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Islandi-Canada can be found on the front page of the Members Only area by clicking here.
