Head of American Spiritual Care Organization Announces Retirement

The National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) has announced that its Executive Director, David Lichter, is planning to retire December 2021. David has been a frequent representative of the NACC at CASC/ACSS conferences over the past 14 years and we wish him the best in his move into retirement. Download full announcement below.

David Lichter is the current Executive Director of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC). Along with his overall NACC leadership, David provides members and other spiritual care leaders education and retreat programs on spirituality of leadership, chaplaincy and Church, workplace spirituality, respecting religious diversity at end of life and the profession of chaplaincy. He is also an adjunct faculty member of Loyola University Chicago Institute of Pastoral Studies, offering courses on spirituality, theologies of suffering, pastoral care and spiritual paths in world religions. He earned his S.T.B. and S.T.L. from Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and his Doctor of Ministry from University of St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein, IL.
